On Saturday, May 2, thirty community members of all ages of Cherry Valley planted a Riparian Forest Buffer of native trees and shrubs along the Cherry Valley Creek behind the Old School. This project was a collaboration of the Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District (OCSWCD), the Upper Susquehanna Coalition (USC), the Cherry Valley Community Facilities Corp (CVCFC), the Village of Cherry Valley, and Glensfoot Farm.  The project was funded by the USC Trees for Tributaries Program.
